This position is responsible for maintaining the overall HVAC-R equipment throughout the company's facilities. The successful candidate will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on a wide variety of air conditioning systems, ice makers, refrigerators, and freezers, utilizing specialized test equipment and hand/power tools.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, electrical and pneumatic controls as related to HVAC systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and documentation of maintenance measures and logs.
- Makes repairs to air handling equipment, i.e., replaces bearings, belts, pulleys, and air filters. Services and maintains rooftop units, split DX systems, and Liebert air conditioning units.
- Uses refrigerant recovery equipment when servicing refrigerant-based systems.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of job-related experience.
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification or within 6 months of hire.
- Class A air condition and refrigeration license in the state of practice and completion of accredited courses in air condition and refrigeration (preferred).

- Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

- Must be able to crawl, climb, and bend without any restrictions.
- Must be able to work indoors, outdoors, in restricted spaces, etc., as job duties dictate.
