About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Allegiance Industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for various purposes, including lighting, climate control, security, and communications.
  • Work with blueprints to install electrical systems in manufacturing facilities, waste water treatment plants, and other structures.
  • Indicate on blueprints the location of circuits, outlets, load centers, panel boards, and other equipment.
  • Install new electrical equipment and maintain and repair electrical systems as quickly as possible to minimize inconvenience.
  • Replace items such as circuit breakers, fuses, switches, electrical and electronic components, or wire.
  • May work with engineers or engineering technicians to perform electrical testing and monitoring of systems and make recommendations for improvement or repair.
  • Review specifications, blueprints, and job scope for technical accuracy and perform electrical testing and monitoring of systems.
  • Carry personal tools, such as on a waist tool belt, which weighs approximately 30 lbs.
  • Maintain good housekeeping, which may include sweeping work areas with a broom, organizing tools and materials, and keeping surfaces clean.

Requirements

  • Technical ability: technical and mechanical skills necessary to read and understand blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Physical fitness and dexterity: many jobs require certain levels of fitness due to the nature of the environment in which the work is performed.
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code.
  • Detail-oriented: have a keen eye for detail in following safety standards and project designs.
  • Independence: able to work on assigned tasks by yourself with very little help.
  • Reliability and Responsibility: accountable and trusted to show up on time and produce consistent, quality work.
  • Positivity: offer support and encouragement to your teammates and show pride in yourself and our company.
  • Diligence: hardworking and have a great work-ethic and exceed expectations.
  • Flexibility: able to adapt and change as needed.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Successful completion of a background and drug screening.
  • Ability to detect safety hazards within the building and communicate with appropriate staff as well as follow all mandated safety requirements.
