Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Y-Tech Services, Inc. As an essential member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical systems on aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and repair electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, circuit breakers, and electrical components.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to determine the feasibility and method of repair or replacement.
  • Perform functional checks on electrical systems, equipment, and wiring to ensure continuity, resistance, and insulation breakdown.
  • Correct discrepancies by removal, repair, or replacement of defective or deleted circuits, wires, connectors, and control units.
  • Examine and prepare components and wiring to locate defects and perform repairs.
  • Identify and address electrical anomalies associated with wire harness installation and report discrepancies to the COR.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of experience in electrical/Avionics aircraft maintenance or possess an aviation technical school certification or degree in an Aviation Electrical discipline.
  • Experience with the USCG H65 aircraft is highly desired.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Must be a United States citizen.
Working Conditions

The selected candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, frequently lifting, reaching, bending, walking, pulling, sitting, and standing for prolonged periods. The candidate must be able to wear cumbersome personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
