Key Responsibilities:
- The Lead Mechanical Systems Commissioning Specialist will report directly to engineering leadership and is tasked with providing technical guidance, fostering business development, and delivering professional services support across regional teams.
- Your primary responsibilities will include mentoring team members on established processes, creating standards to enhance team growth, and overseeing projects from a supervisory perspective.
- Additional duties encompass managing weekly staff schedules, actively participating in and leading company-wide safety and training initiatives, and representing the company at industry events and trade shows.
- Administrative responsibilities will involve ensuring quality assurance by overseeing ongoing projects and client relations, supporting sales and revenue objectives, and initiating new partnerships with strategic clients and market sectors to drive business expansion.
- Educational background in HVACR, mechanical engineering, construction management, or an Associate's Degree in engineering technology or a related field, along with experience in construction, maintenance, or engineering controls.
- Proven experience in a managerial role related to maintenance, construction, or engineering controls, or a minimum of 5 years in the commissioning industry.
- At least 5 years of experience in managing the integration of building systems, including pumps, fans, motors, air handling systems, chillers, boilers, steam distribution, heat exchange, building automation, electrical distribution, fire alarm systems, variable refrigerant flow, and wastewater management.
- Exceptional mentoring and coaching skills, with the ability to effectively present information to groups.
- Familiarity with construction documentation, specifications, bidding processes, and related industry materials.
- Strong problem-solving skills, both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to adapt to various working conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
- Physical capability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds and climb ladders as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
