About the Position:

This part-time instructor position is responsible for teaching a course on canine fitness and well-being. The instructor will design and deliver engaging lessons that cover the basics of animal care, including cleaning, feeding, exercising, and health care. The course will also explore the benefits of having and caring for a dog, including physical, psychological, and emotional benefits for the owner and the pet.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high-quality lessons on canine fitness and well-being
  • Develop and implement engaging course materials and activities
  • Provide excellent instruction and support to students
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience teaching at a post-secondary level
  • Certification in CPR from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, working approximately 3 hours per week. The instructor will be required to work on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
