Job SummaryThis is an on-site role located in Wichita, Kansas. As a POET Grain Accountant, you will work closely with our grain merchandising team to meet customer needs efficiently. Your responsibilities will include processing grain settlements, issuing payments to customers, reconciling general ledger and bank accounts, and maintaining documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with teams across the POET system to ensure efficient information flow.
- Process grain settlements and issue payments to customers.
- Reconcile general ledger and bank accounts.
- Maintain and update documentation to improve processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years' experience in accounting or a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office, including MS Excel and Outlook.
- Experience working with financial statements.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
