Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Grant Accountant to join our dynamic team at Beacon Hill. As a Grant Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting for our non-profit organization, including grant and contract billing, budgeting, accounts receivable, payroll reporting, and preparing audit workpapers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage general accounting transactions, including grant and contract billing, budgeting, and accounts receivable
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including budget-to-actual reports and audit workpapers
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure proper fund coding and assist in grant budget preparation
  • Provide financial insights to management and support annual audits
  • Allocate expenditures to various funding sources and maintain compliance with regulations
Requirements
  • Nonprofit and grant accounting experience is essential
  • No degree required, but relevant experience is a must
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
