Med Surg Float Pool Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg Float Pool team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. As a Medical Surgical Float Pool Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement and evaluate care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care.
- Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy.
- Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff as needed.
- Provide pre- and post-operative patient care.
- Provide education to patients and families on care and treatments.
- Facilitate discharge plans in collaboration with the care team.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
