Job Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN) will operate within the framework of the nursing process, delivering professional nursing care that emphasizes patient and family-centered principles. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and discharging patients. The RN will ensure quality care in alignment with Corewell Health policies and procedures, acknowledging the significant role of nursing care and patient/family collaboration in achieving positive patient outcomes. The RN will engage with patients and families to incorporate their input and goals into the care plan and will develop educational strategies for patients and families, documenting all learning appropriately in health records.

Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required within five years of hire.
- Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license required upon hire or transfer.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire or transfer.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or transfer.
- Preferred: Two years of RN experience, particularly in Endoscopy.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with day shifts, requiring availability for variable hours and on-call weekends.
