Speech Language Pathologist - School Based Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Stellar Therapy Services. As a therapist-owned company, we value our employees and strive to provide a work environment that allows them to live the life they choose.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services to students with communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of students, in collaboration with school staff and parents.
  • Provide consultation and training services to teachers and other educational professionals to improve their understanding of communication disorders and how to support student development.
  • Document and maintain accurate and organized records of student progress, assessments, and treatment plans, according to school policies and professional standards.
  • Attend and participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other school-based meetings to collaborate with colleagues and ensure that the students' needs are addressed.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution.
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in speech-language pathology.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Experience working with children with communication disorders in a school-based setting preferred.
