About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality care to our clients in the Gastonia area. As a per diem Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Educate and instruct clients, family members, or caregivers on rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote independent living.
Requirements
  • A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
  • Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association, or have equivalent educational requirements and work experience.
  • Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
