Job Title: PT Microbiology Instructor

Foothill De Anza Community College District is seeking a part-time Microbiology Instructor to join our team. As a Microbiology Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching introductory and applied Microbiology courses to students.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Microbiology courses, including introductory and applied Microbiology.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
  • Participate in department meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Microbiology or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Microbiology courses.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in an indoor office environment and will be required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time. The candidate will also be required to lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.
