The selected candidate will be based in our Palm Beach / Ft. Lauderdale offices and will engage in a blend of data analysis, market research, and operational strategy, focusing primarily on residential new developments in South Florida and other significant markets in the state. This position provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with exceptional development professionals and real estate innovators while contributing to the predevelopment phases of residential and mixed-use projects.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis across various real estate sectors in South Florida.
  • Gather and organize property data from diverse public and proprietary sources.
  • Compile and deliver detailed reports on market trends, pricing strategies, competitive landscapes, and other pertinent data.
  • Perform data analysis and reporting for both client-facing and internal deliverables.
  • Assist in project programming, including unit mix, floorplan evaluations, and more, based on thorough market analysis.
  • Identify and execute due diligence on potential development sites, considering zoning and legal factors.
  • Monitor and report on industry trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes impacting the real estate landscape.
  • Participate in site visits and meetings to gain valuable insights into various aspects of the development process.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management to enhance research capabilities and operational efficiencies.

Operational Duties

  • Oversee and process contracts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Coordinate with legal teams, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless contract execution.
  • Maintain organized records of all due diligence and contract documentation.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve system processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in the Florida real estate market, particularly in residential development.
  • Working knowledge of real estate sales, economic principles, and development concepts.
  • Ability to thrive in a professional, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency or interest in conducting quantitative analysis using Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with customer relationship management platforms and various database systems is preferred.
  • A Master's degree in real estate or real estate development is preferred.
