Christus Health is seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff, including answering patient calls, assisting with daily living activities, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assist nurses and doctors with medical procedures, including dressing wounds and administering medications.
- Document patient information, including temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs, and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
12-hour shifts, 6PM - 6AM, Full-time position.
