Your Role:
As the Facilities Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service delivery in cleanliness, facility management, and professionalism. Typical Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ongoing inspections of facility systems and create schedules for repairs and replacements.
  • Oversee facility capital projects, including soliciting bids and supervising external contractor work.
  • Assess and schedule urgent maintenance requirements for various locations.
  • Perform light carpentry, drywall installation, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and other maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all preventative maintenance protocols, including HVAC systems, alarm systems, and inspections.
  • Coordinate and assist with facility maintenance inspections; recommend preventative measures.
  • Monitor external vendors to guarantee timely lawn care and snow removal services.
  • Provide custodial and maintenance support as required.
  • Supervise custodial and maintenance personnel.
  • Execute additional tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • 2-4 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in light carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical work, and HVAC monitoring is essential.
  • Ability to operate snow removal equipment and lawn maintenance machinery.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Safety-conscious mindset.
  • Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Capacity to stand and sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to push, pull, stretch, and bend to complete maintenance and cleaning tasks.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving record acceptable to BHSN's insurance provider.
