Maintenance Electrician Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Peerless Chain Company. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electric and electronic equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and associated networks.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic and electrical controls associated with manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and other maintenance needs as requested.
  • Install new electrical systems based on Minnesota-approved licenses.
  • Ensure work areas are clean, restock unused items, and return tools to their proper location.
  • Adhere to safety policies, operator preventative maintenance, and housekeeping practices.
  • Attend safety meetings and technical classes as determined by the employer.
  • Perform duties within the scope of Minnesota-approved licenses.
  • Ensure quality specifications of equipment and product by maintaining high standards of skills and workmanship.
  • Accurately complete process and quality documentation.
Requirements:
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Reasoning ability to define problems, collect information, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to work within NFPA 70E guidelines as directed.
  • Ability to communicate respectfully with others.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.

  • Occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
