About the Role

Park Properties Management Co is seeking a skilled and experienced Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Highlands at Huckleberry Ridge in Blacksburg, VA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs, to ensure the property's physical condition is maintained.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to maintenance assistants as needed.
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies and be available for rotating on-call shifts.
  • Conduct regular inspections of common areas and exterior spaces to identify and address any maintenance needs.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, parts inventory, and service follow-ups.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in apartment maintenance or a related field.
  • HVAC certification preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
