Position Details:

Behavior Technician - Psychology Majors - Brighton – Full-time or Part-time (3-5 days/week, No Weekends)

  • As a Behavior Technician, you will implement ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy, focusing on enhancing children's socially significant behaviors to improve their overall quality of life. You will track and measure each child's progress, aiming to boost their language, communication, attention, social skills, memory, and academic performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver ABA services to clients with Autism under the supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst), assisting in the execution of tailored treatment plans.
  • Accurately collect and document data on patient behaviors.
  • Engage in collaboration and communication with clients and their families, providing necessary training and support.
  • Work alongside our clinical services team (SLP, OT, PT) to facilitate smooth transitions for children into their respective services.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere for both patients and their families.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Paid training in ABA will be provided.
  • A High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Experience with children or the special needs community is preferred but not mandatory.
