At Dant Clayton Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled 3D Design Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the organization's design and detailing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate external design resources and develop internal 3D implementation processes.
  • Check submittal drawings and shop packages for accuracy and consistency.
  • Participate in weekly coordination meetings with outside design resources to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Utilize knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, and physical sciences to complete drawings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate 3D designs into overall project plans.
  • Support the implementation of best practices and innovative approaches for 3D design.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of construction practices, principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Established ability to communicate ideas, both verbally and in writing.
  • 5-10 years of experience using Autodesk software to produce shop and erection drawings for a steel manufacturer.
  • 1-3 years of experience in 3D modeling software, such as Inventor or other.
  • Experience in railing layout and code knowledge is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
