Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Greet customers, engage in friendly conversations, and ask about their shopping needs to provide personalized recommendations and assistance.
  • Product Knowledge: Offer customers product recommendations and provide information to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Checkout Operations: Use cash registers to ring up customer transactions and assist customers in self-service checkout lanes.
  • Return Processing: Receive and process in-store and online returns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Fresh Food Preparation: Prepare fresh food items such as cold salads, pizzas, rotisserie chickens, and sandwiches to meet customer demands.
  • Store Presentation: Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including stocking shelves and producing, setting up merchandise displays, and ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Inventory Management: Unload product deliveries and organize stockroom to ensure efficient inventory management and minimize stockouts.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick items to fulfill customer grocery orders for pickup and delivery to meet customer expectations.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to understand and perform duties safely in English.
  • BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a high school or equivalent diploma.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1+ year of customer service experience.
  • Must be able to lift up to 49 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift (up to 8 hours).
