Medical Radiation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Radiation Specialist to join our team at Right Hire Consulting LLC. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate professional to work with patients and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality radiation therapy services.
About the Role:
- This role involves working closely with Radiation Oncologists to administer prescribed radiation therapy to patients.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, allowing them to interact effectively with patients, nurses, physicians, patient family members, and co-workers.
- The position requires a strong understanding of radiation therapy principles and practices, as well as knowledge of department functions and procedures.
Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in a related field is preferred.
- Candidates must hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as a Radiation Therapist.
- Prior experience in a Radiation Oncology Department is highly desirable but not essential.
Working Conditions:
- This full-time position involves working 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
Compensation Package:
In line with industry standards, we offer an estimated annual salary range of $63,000-$85,000 depending on location and experience. This figure reflects a competitive market rate for this position within the relevant geographical area.
