Job Title: Carpenter

At UW Health, we are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our Maintenance and Engineering Services team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing carpentry duties under the supervision of the Building Trades Supervisor. This includes carrying out maintenance and repair tasks in compliance with Federal/State/OSHA Laws, Rules and Regulations and in accordance with UW Health Policy and Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform carpentry duties, including maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Work in compliance with Federal/State/OSHA Laws, Rules and Regulations and UW Health Policy and Procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Building Trades Supervisor to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • Four year carpenter apprenticeship Preferred.

Work Experience:
  • 1 year as a journeyman carpenter Required.

Licenses & Certifications:
  • Carpenter Journey Worker certification or ability to certify equivalency of required hours for Carpenter Journey Worker Preferred.
  • Valid driver's license Required.
