Job Overview:
The Culinary Preparation Specialist is responsible for preparing and serving food in compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Review daily production schedules and preparation requirements from the Chef.
2. Prepare food items according to established recipes and production sheets.
3. Maintain accurate daily production worksheets and waste logs.
4. Taste finished meals to ensure quality standards are met.
5. Operate and clean kitchen equipment following departmental procedures.
6. Properly store, label, and date all food items in accordance with policy.
7. Adhere to HACCP guidelines to guarantee food safety and quality.
8. Complete necessary documentation and reports as required.
9. Comply with health and sanitation regulations and departmental sanitation procedures.
10. Take customer orders and prepare items with short preparation times.
11. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
12. Complete orders from various stations and ensure proper portion control.
13. Address customer concerns effectively.
14. Perform additional duties as assigned.
