Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of a single project, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily jobsite activities, including scheduling, coordination, and communication with trade partners and site project teams.
  • Implement and maintain jobsite safety programs, reporting, and accident prevention measures.
  • Ensure employee safety, housekeeping, and accurate cost center management.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, field dimensions, and contract conformance.
  • Maintain jobsite records, progress photographs, and city inspections.
  • Collaborate with the project team to resolve issues, complete punch lists, and ensure project turnover.
  • Perform weekly reviews of job costs, quality control, and tool/equipment maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, mentoring, and training junior team members.
Requirements
  • 8-10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in Ground-Up Mixed Commercial construction, specializing in Higher Education and Healthcare projects.
  • Excellent reading, writing, verbal, and communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, ability to manage a single project, and offer guidance to junior team members.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with some experience in drafting, surveying, Total Station, or CAD preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications a plus.
