Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team on a weekend program. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine to complex CT procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols under the direction/supervision of a radiologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Ensure proper safety standards are met
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures
  • Start IV access and inject contrast media under physician direction
  • Assist in maintaining supply inventory
  • Participate in on-going service and process improvement efforts
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R.T.) required
  • ARRT (CT) certification required within one year of hire
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required
Physical Demands

The job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequent bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive), and repetitive motion (computer keyboard). The successful candidate must be proficient in communicative, auditory, and visual skills, with attention to detail and ability to write legibly. The ability to lift/push/pull lbs. may be required.
