Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team on a weekend program. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine to complex CT procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols under the direction/supervision of a radiologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Ensure proper safety standards are met
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures
  • Start IV access and inject contrast media under physician direction
  • Assist in maintaining supply inventory
  • Participate in on-going service and process improvement efforts
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R.T.) required
  • ARRT (CT) certification required within one year of hire
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required
Work Environment

This position requires standing for prolonged periods, frequent bending/stooping, reaching, and repetitive motion. The successful candidate will be exposed to cold, dust, noise, radiation, blood/body fluids, and infectious disease.
