The Well Site Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and directing the activities of teams at both the well site and workshop environments, ensuring a strong emphasis on safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate job planning and provide clear instructions to crew members based on required equipment and client specifications.
- Conduct behavior-based safety assessments and routinely inspect equipment for potential hazards.
- Ensure 100% travel commitment for extended periods, adapting to the demands of the role.
- Operate at heights exceeding 100 feet, utilizing man lifts, scissor lifts, and ladders while adhering to fall protection measures.
Stakeholder Interaction:
Maintain professional relationships with various stakeholders to uphold customer satisfaction at job sites.
Team Development:
- Assess the competency levels of team members, providing training and mentorship on industry best practices.
- Promote adherence to safety and company standards among crew members.
Operational Duties:
- Identify well-bore parameters and perform necessary calculations.
- Implement recommended practices in daily operations.
- Supervise all rigging processes on location.
- Ensure all equipment is accounted for before and after jobs, including timely return of rental equipment.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Accurately report crew hours on a daily basis and adjust staffing as necessary.
- Ensure all documentation is updated and submitted to accounting promptly.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in snubbing services.
Direct Reports:
- Supervise crew members.
Work Schedule:
- Flexibility for weekend and evening hours is essential due to the nature of the industry.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and compliance with company insurance driving standards.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical examination.
Work Environment:
Expect non-traditional work settings with frequent travel to remote job sites, often in challenging weather conditions.
