Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as an Academic Faculty in Data Science. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service in the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences at Augusta University.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching: 60% of time will be dedicated to teaching classes during the academic year as assigned by the Dean.
  • Research: 30% of time will be dedicated to persistent scholarship leading to national/international recognition and impact.
  • Service: 10% of time will be dedicated to service to the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences and Augusta University as requested by the Dean.
Required Qualifications
  • PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.
  • Assistant Professor: requires a doctoral degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, computer engineering or related disciplines, with an active research program and publications in high-quality venues.
  • Associate Professor: requires a doctoral degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, computer engineering or related disciplines, with at least five years of experience, an active externally-funded research program, and a strong record of publications in high-quality venues.
  • Professor: requires a doctoral degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, computer engineering or related disciplines, with at least five years of experience, an active externally-funded research program, and a strong record of publications in high-quality venues.
