We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Physicist specializing in Emergency Medicine. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in the assessment, treatment, and management of critically ill and injured patients, particularly those facing trauma and multi-organ dysfunction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct immediate assessments of patients entering the emergency department and oversee their recovery process.
- Order necessary medical tests and develop comprehensive treatment plans based on results.
- Provide care from the initial point of contact, working diligently to stabilize and diagnose patients while performing essential life-saving procedures.
- Administer appropriate medications to manage and alleviate patient pain effectively.
- Ensure patient comfort and stability, monitor progress, and create detailed reports for continuity of care.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of hospital staff to ensure optimal patient care and discharge procedures.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient dignity and adhere to the American Hospital Association's Bill of Rights.
