Pediatric Medical Assistant Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Certified Medical Assistant to join our pediatric team at Geisinger Pediatrics in Philipsburg. As a CMA, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and clinical support for our physicians and other providers in the outpatient setting. Your duties will include preparing patients, collecting and reviewing pertinent information, performing technical duties, documenting using our electronic medical record, and supporting a safe environment for patients.

You will also provide administrative and clerical support for our clinic/department, including patient scheduling, filing reports, and following up on documentation, phone calls, and billing inquiries. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $42,000 - $52,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as full health, dental, and vision coverage starting on day one. You will also receive pre-tax savings plans, company-paid life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability coverage. Our generous paid time off plan allows you to accrue time quickly, and we offer up to $5,000 in tuition reimbursement per calendar year.
