Key Responsibilities:
As a Pharmacy Order Processing Specialist at Remedi SeniorCare, you will be integral to our pharmacy operations. Your duties will encompass the prompt and precise entry of prescriptions into our Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack pharmacy system. You will also engage with customers via phone, delivering swift and courteous assistance.
Under the supervision of a pharmacist and in accordance with State regulations, your responsibilities will include:
- Timely order entry and follow-up
- Resolving discrepancies in prescription/patient data entry
- Ensuring the accurate and prompt input of prescription/patient information
- Collaborating with Order Entry leadership to achieve departmental objectives
- Providing outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current national/state pharmacy certification and State Board of Pharmacy registration preferred but not mandatory
- Proficient computer skills
- Solid understanding of medical terminology and pharmacological knowledge
- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities, particularly in calculations
- Preferred: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a long-term care pharmacy
