This will involve handling a portfolio of accounts, primarily focusing on group bookings of 10 to 20 room nights, while maximizing revenues for all areas of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to incoming group and catering business opportunities to ensure timely conversion into bookings.
  • Ensure that all business is booked within hotel parameters, adhering to established guidelines and policies.
  • Conduct hotel site inspections and client presentations to showcase the hotel's offerings and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Prepare and manage contracts, as well as other related booking documentation, to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Manage and maintain client account files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Prospect for new business through sales blitzes, cold calling, and contacting former clients to solicit new opportunities.
  • Attend industry events and programs as needed to stay informed about market trends and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional communication and service.
  • Detail events to include all food and beverage, setup, and audio-visual needs, ensuring that client expectations are met.
  • Communicate client needs to all hotel departments, ensuring seamless execution and follow-through on all requests.
  • Utilize negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
