Job Title: Aviation Service Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Service Worker to join our team at Daytona State College. As a key member of our facilities services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our campus facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and evaluate assigned custodial employees, ensuring they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Clean and maintain all campus facilities, including classrooms, labs, offices, and public areas.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as vacuuming, mopping, and dusting, to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students, faculty, and staff.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including forklifts and other specialized machinery.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in custodial or facilities services, with a strong background in leadership and supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods, with frequent walking and bending.
