Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring high-quality food products and exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, leadership skills, and experience in managing a team. They will be responsible for selecting recipes, preparing meals, and coordinating menu planning.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality assurance of meal presentation and portion control.
  2. Select recipes, prepare, and coordinate all meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  3. Create new dishes, develop recipes, and standardize recipes to ensure consistent quality.
  4. Plan, modify, and develop menus, taking into account resident preferences and dietary needs.
  5. Conduct pre-meal meetings with food servers to review daily menu details.
  6. Ensure adequate staffing levels and cover absences as needed.
  7. Evaluate food consumption and requisition food purchases, maintaining inventory levels.
  8. Assist in maintaining budget compliance for daily food costs.
  9. Implement loss prevention procedures and maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards.
  10. Hire, train, schedule, discipline, and terminate associates, providing training for all kitchen staff.
