Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team at Twin Birch Golf Club and Restaurant. This role is crucial in maintaining the exceptional dining experience our guests have come to expect.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring that each plate meets our high standards for quality and presentation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Ensuring that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.
  • Complying with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Assisting with inventory and managing food storage.
  • Working collaboratively with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Adapting to guest feedback and making necessary adjustments to dishes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook.
  • An excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • A culinary school diploma preferred but not required.
