Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at VetJobs. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial equipment and machinery
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair work to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree preferred
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or industrial setting; warehouse experience a plus
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, walk long distances, and work at heights
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and extended shifts
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with Maximo or CMMS software
  • Basic math and writing skills; strong attention to detail
  • Ability to operate a forklift; willingness to learn new skills
