Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Loader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing the loading dock, loading customer orders accurately, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate powered industrial trucks, such as forklifts or hand jacks, to manipulate products and ensure accurate loading of customer orders.
  • Take inventory of materials on the loading dock and ensure that all products are accurately staged, properly stacked, and appropriately shrink-wrapped.
  • Determine the most efficient loading configuration to ensure maximum cube utilization and minimize damage in transit.
  • Load products into trucks on pallets or by hand stacking or a combination thereof.
  • Ensure that all non-food items, such as pallet jacks, display racks, and mail, are also loaded.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as requested by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock pickers.
  • OSHA Forklift Certification strongly preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers and management.
  • Ability to follow safe working practices and efficiently work independently.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to carry, lift, and/or move up to 75 pounds. The associate is required to sit. The associate is frequently required to stand, walk, and climb. While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm. The associate is also exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise levels in the work environment are typically low to moderate.
