Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities- Maintain the facility and equipment in a safe and operational state, adhering to established guidelines and supervision.
- Identify, report, and correct maintenance problems promptly, focusing on areas such as electricity, steam, water, hoses, hydraulics, and valve components.
- Ensure maintenance equipment, departments, and tools are kept in a safe and sanitary condition, with all equipment serviced left in a sanitary and safe state with guards and safety devices in place.
- Contribute to the production of consistent and food-safe quality products by maintaining and updating facility-engineering practices.
- Develop an understanding of how bakery process equipment should function.
- Foster open communication with fellow mechanics, supervisors, and other departments to ensure timely resolution of equipment problems.
- Develop and maintain an acute understanding of bun production, fermentation, and new developments in equipment maintenance and design.
- Have basic skills in PLC troubleshooting and programming.
- Be respirator certified.
- Have basic knowledge of welding, electricity, refrigeration, pneumatics, steam, and gear reducers.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
Hourly Rate: $32.38
Shift: Must be available for all shifts, including Day, Swing, and Graveyard.

The final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on factors such as location, shift, education, skill, and experience within the job or industry. Additional pay may be determined for candidates exceeding specified qualifications and requirements.
