About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our growing neurosurgery program at Community Health System. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with our team of medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and prepare instruments, equipment, medications, and supplies for each case, adhering to doctors' preference cards.
  • Establish and maintain a sterile field and surgical aseptic technique to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
  • Assist in transporting and preparing patients for surgical procedures, including shaving, positioning, and draping.
  • Perform first scrub functions and procedures in the majority of surgical procedures performed at the facility.
  • Assist the surgeon and surgical team by passing instruments, sutures, medications, and/or supplies as needed.
