Job Title: Surgical Technologist

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join their team in Fresno, California.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to assist with surgical operations in a hospital or outpatient surgery center setting. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and nurses with surgical procedures, including preparing the operating room, surgical tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgical procedure.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including prepping patients for surgery and transporting them to and from the operating room.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of surgical procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
  • Trauma Experience preferred, not required
  • Travel experience preferred, not required
