Speech-Language Pathologist Job Summary

Amergis is seeking a qualified Speech-LanguagePathologist to join our team in the Santa Barbara, CA area. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing speech/language pathology services in schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform student evaluations to identify communication disorders and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students to minimize the adverse impact of speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of assignment.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with relevant software applications.
