Responsibilities- Assess and admit patients, conducting thorough evaluations to determine the best course of treatment
- Round regularly to check on patients, ensuring their needs are met and providing updates to family members
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia
- 1-2 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in Intermediate Care/Step Down Unit
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to work a full-time, night shift schedule (7p-7a)
