Job Summary

">

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Park Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the daily operational needs of Morro Bay Museum of Natural History and Spooner Ranch House are met. This includes working under the direction of the State Park Interpreter III and general direction of the State Park Interpreter I.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Manage cash handling activities, including accounting for sales, balancing records, and making change for customers. ">
  • Become proficient in operating and maintaining reservation system PCs, including downloading and printing data. ">
  • Communicate effectively with direct leads and resolve issues related to reservations. ">
  • Assist with interpreting cultural, natural, and recreational resources through various programs. ">
  • Work variable shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. ">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. You should also be proficient in basic math and computer skills.

Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $20.29 - $24.42 per hour, depending on experience. Additional benefits include paid time off, health insurance, and retirement plans.
