Key Responsibilities- Provide Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and develop effective treatment plans.
- Monitor and Document Patient Progress: Continuously monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and treatment responses, and document all relevant information in the patient's medical record.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Create and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of combined experience in Critical Care and another specialty (e.g., Medsurg, Telemetry, IMC, or Emergency) required. 5 years of experience preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications: RN license in the state of employment or compact required. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. De-escalation training required within 30 days of hire at SPOHN.
Per Diem As Needed
