Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop finance personnel, providing coaching and guidance to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Assist with tax preparation, including R&D tax credits, annual federal and state income tax, sales tax, and international transfer pricing.
  • Integral to the month-end close process, working to push for efficient processes and performing analysis of balance sheet, P&L, and cash.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Work with the team to develop forecasts and budgets, including P&L at the product line level, cash flow, and balance sheet.
  • Support specific cross-functional teams as assigned, including reporting and analysis of financial data and general guidance for the team.
  • Responsible for internal controls, documentation, testing, and improvement.
  • Implement and document processes and procedures around accounting processes.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations.
  • Enhance and develop processes and procedures for the accounting and finance team.
  • Lead external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Ability to communicate with cross-functional stakeholders across various business areas.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines as required.
