We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist II to join our team at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst, IL. As an Occupational Therapist II, you will provide direct occupational therapy services to patients, evaluating and treating individuals with physical, emotional, or cognitive disabilities.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to achieve precise, functional goals.
- Use excellent communication skills to educate patients and engage them in their own care.
- Stay updated regarding developments, new techniques, and equipment in the field of occupational therapy.
- Maintain a well-rounded knowledge base and clinical reasoning skills to consistently achieve expected clinical outcomes.
- Current State of Illinois Occupational Therapist licensure.
- Current American Heart Association BLS for healthcare provider or American Red Cross CPR/AED for the professional rescuer certification.
- A valid driver's license is required if performing related duties at an off-site location.
