- Financial Oversight: Handle budget management and provide project cost estimations.
- Field Activity Management: Supervise field operations, including soil and groundwater sampling, drilling, and remedial actions.
- Team Supervision: Guide and mentor junior staff members.
- Data Collection: Gather additional site characterization data and review historical documentation.
- Reporting: Prepare milestone reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a Project Manager role with direct oversight of remediation projects.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in industrial or chemical manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Regulatory Familiarity: Knowledge of EPA regulations, particularly TSCA and RCRA.
- State Regulations: Extensive understanding of NJDEP guidelines and regulations.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills, especially in technical report writing and project documentation.
- Organizational Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Safety Training: OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training; current 8-Hour refresher is preferred.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Drug & Alcohol screening test. Candidates must provide documentation confirming identity and eligibility for employment in the United States.
The salary will be commensurate with experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package, which features healthcare, vision and dental coverage, life insurance, disability programs, a 401(k) retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, paid holidays, and vacation time. Please note that a relocation package is not available for this position.
