Job Description

The Navy Business Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Joint Training Analyst to provide critical support to Commander, Carrier Strike Group Four (CSG-4) in Norfolk, VA. As a key member of the Joint/Partner Nation Training Team Program, you will be responsible for providing Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) accreditation/certification mitigation support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide training program analysis support and serve as a fleet and joint training and policy analyst and action officer for the U.S. Fleet Forces (USFF) Fleet/Joint Training Directorate (N7).
  • Review and incorporate Joint Staff (JS) J7 identified training requirements into Navy Joint Training Programs (e.g., FST, COMPTUEX, and AWF).
  • Support the incorporation of best practices and lessons learned in Navy Joint Training Programs (e.g., FST, COMPTUEX and AWF).
  • Collect, process, analyze, maintain, and distribute lessons learned and best practices from joint training events to enhance the combat effectiveness of Navy and joint forces.
  • Assist in the mitigation/correction of shortfalls or enhancements of the Navy`s FST, COMPTUEX, and AWF joint training programs that were identified during recent program reviews.
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree and a Secret clearance.
  • Active military duty experience including fleet and Joint training, and operational experience at the mid-grade officer level or higher.
  • Six (6) years of functional area and general training program analyst experience (ten [10] years in lieu of degree will be considered).
  • Must possess proven written and verbal communication skills at the junior management and senior executive level and be able to act independently.
Desired Qualifications
  • Active military duty experience at a major command/staff.
  • Familiarity with the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP) and Fleet Training policy documents, including the Fleet Training Continuum (FTC).
