This position is responsible for transporting and delivering petroleum products to customers by applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads in the area. The driver will be accountable for driving to and from designated locations, verifying loads against shipping papers, maintaining a record of duty status according to state and federal regulations, and performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic service technician duties such as changing filters and hoses.
- Service three bulk plants in Greenville, Chesterfield, and Aiken.
- Drive a truck to and from designated destinations.
- Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including drivers' record of duty status, mileage records, and other records required by law.
- Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
- Maneuver fuel hoses in, around, and through various equipment as needed.
- All other duties assigned.
