**Job Description:**

As a **Petroleum Product Transporter**, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering petroleum products to customers by applying your knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads in the area. This role involves driving to and from designated locations, verifying loads against shipping papers, maintaining records of duty status according to state and federal regulations, and performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Responsibilities:

  • In addition to driving duties, this position will also assist with basic service tech duties such as changing filters and hoses.
  • Service all three bulk plants in Greenville, Chesterfield, and Aiken.
  • Drive truck to and from designated destinations.
  • Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including drivers' record of duty status, mileage records, and other records required by law.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
  • Maneuver fuel hoses in, around, and through all types of equipment as required.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • You must possess a valid commercial class A or B driver's license with tanker and hazmat endorsements.
  • You must have no less than 2 years previous commercial driving experience.
  • You must have the ability to read, write, and perform simple mathematical calculations and have the mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, maintain record of duty status, etc.
  • You must be able to reach above shoulder level, bend at waist level, and below waist level for maneuvering and directing controls to operate the truck.
  • You must be able to climb ladders located on trailers.
  • You must be able to maneuver fuel hoses in, around, and through all types of equipment and environments as required. Hoses weigh from 23 pounds empty to approximately 48 pounds with residual fuel after delivery.
